The first issue of 2012 is here! We are delighted and overjoyed to welcome yet another issue celebrating the tremendous growth of pole artistry. In this issue, we highlighted some of the tremendous achievements in pole sport with our sponsored coverage of the Italian, Brazilian, and American pole championships and events that took place in 2011. We are also more than thrilled to introduce the mindset of pole dancing during pregnancy through our lovely pole dancer Jackie Steinhauer and stretching with Julie Mortine. Very limited copies left. This issue celebrates the survivor stories and philanthropist who have dedicated their lives to great causes, great achievements of pole in the media (MTV, Guinness World Records), and the art of giving back to great causes, and excellent holiday gift guide suggestions. The issue is a double feature special with one dedicated to a philanthropist of great causes, TV personality, Jenna Morasca who lost her mother to breast cancer few years ago. She was the sole winner of the CBS hit show, Survivor: Amazon and is currently a cast member of the new season of The Amazing Race. Commemorating the one year anniversary of the magazine, it is giving back through a charity initiative drive, Pole For A Cause™. This will be possible through details on wwww.PoleForACause.com. where many are welcome to participate and inquire about how the magazine can help their causes. Pole Spin magazine is a proud sponsor of many events worldwide, including the American Pole Fitness Championships where portions of the net proceeds of the celebratory anniversary issue sold at the event, Friday, October 14, 2011 in New York City will be donated to the Toto Love Children’s Home Foundation for the HIV orphanage kids in Kenya and a few other charities including American Cancer Society‘s Breast Cancer Awareness “Making Strides.” The story of how Leah Grafton discovered the orphanage and of her loyal dedication to the orphanage is featured in the celebratory issue along with highlights of the progress of the kids. Copies sold at the theater will be accompanied by a generous size 18×24 inches free posters of The Awareness Issue cover to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the publication.
